Hello everyone! These crochet hooks have been popping up in crochet blogs. I was searching for a new crochet hook because I had cramps with my steel one. My fingers and wrist were very painful in the end. So I thought, why not try one of these pretty things.
The Etimo crochet hook is made by Tulip, a Japanese brand. They not only come in yummie colours, but the hooks also have a comfortable grip which is smooth, doesn't slip and fits perfectly the hand. It's surprisingly light and the aluminum hook is extremely smooth.
The only downside is the price. A steel hook of 3mm cost me about 2,50 € The Tulip one was about 11,00 € (shipping costs included). You can buy just one if you find it too expensive like I did. Don't get me I wish I could buy a whole set but I don't have the money right now...
I bought my hook at Yarnstick from Ebay. The seller is very reliable, very helpful and delivers FAST! I would definitely would buy from this seller again! So if you're looking for one, then Yarnstick is the place to be. Well, that's it for today! See you next time!

Pretty hook - have fun crocheting with it. :)
ReplyDeleteHihi thanks!
DeleteI don't crochet, but I can tell the grip is nice! I do lots of other crafting with my hands, so I understand how cramping it can get.
ReplyDeleteHey Natasha, I saw your DIYs. They are awesome! I wish I was as handy as you! :) X
DeleteI am so used to my old crochet hooks but this one does look nice and comfortable :)
ReplyDeleteIs it a steel hook that you use? ^^ x
DeleteHave yet to try one myself, thanks for sharing. I don't ever have sore hands from crocheting with yarn, but am in the middle of crocheting with sheets, which is very hard work comparatively, and my hands are sore!
ReplyDeleteOh yes I saw the pictures! I hope it's better now. It's such great idea using sheets as thread! ^^
